Shop manuals for 1946 thru 1956 were a complete combination of almost all the mechanical service and repair information on the entire automobile with supplements issued for details not covered in the shop manual. Beginning in 1957 two service manuals were made available for each model year, one for chassis and one for body.

A Chassis Manual covered all the main areas of service and repair except body and convertible top.
A Body Manual covered service and repair of doors, seats, glass, weatherstripping, trim and convertible top.
At today’s mechanic labor rates, if you only use the book one time to work on your car, it has already paid for itself!
What few original manuals we have in stock are in very good condition.
